| Ref:20425 Upright and Drilling Tool for watches. Swiss table pattern.
With three brass feet, the head sufficiently high to allow a bow drill to be used between the work and the female centre. Ex Ham & Huddy workshop, second half of the 19th century. Height 20 cms.
Retaining the helical brass springs beneath the stem of the clamps causing them to rise when the clamping screws are slackened, a great convenience in use. One replacement clamp, otherwise original. Has been cleaned, but not polished. | |
