For more information about Smiths English wristwatches see the short note in my website Glossary, and my illustrated article on Smiths 'English Wristwatches' in the April 2003 issue of Antique Collecting. Please note that this case design is not waterproof, and all Smiths wristwatches of this date are best kept well away from wet and damp conditions.
Case, dial and movement in very good original condition showing almost no signs of age - not mint, as other sellers often seen to claim, but about as good and original as one will ever find. Fully serviced by one of the best Smiths specialists presently working, with new crystal and brand new Hirsh tan leather non-allergy strap.
NB: Having reached a certain age I am looking to sell my stock of books and wristwatches and am offering them at Sale prices. The better wristwatches, as here, will have been fully and properly serviced, but I am now also offering my unserviced and unrestored stock - keep an eye on my website as new items will be uploaded regularly.
