Unusual two-train independent centre-seconds movement, circa 1860.
Extensively jewelled three-quarter plate hollow-back (no brass-edge) movement with two keywound going-barrel trains, hand setting from the rear, with a brake at 6 operating on the centre-seconds train. Single-roller detached lever escapement. Compensation balance, spiral balance-spring. Good enamel dial with gothic hour markings, in perfect condition, gilt hands. 46.5 mm, 8 mm deep, not including centre arbor.

Lacking centre-seconds hand and all rather dusty, otherwise complete and in good condition. Not cleaned by me but will tick if wound.
