Terms and Conditions

All possible care will be taken to get the goods to the customer in perfect order. However, I cannot be held responsible for the failure of the Royal Mail or any other delivery company. In the event of problems, I will take all reasonable steps to help the buyer obtain compensation. NB. The Royal Mail places a £250 or sometimes lower maximum level of insurance for watches sent to many countries, over which I will not be held responsible for any loss. Extra insurance can be arranged for most countries but it will increase the cost. Please ask if wanted.

I cannot be held responsible for any import duties levied on goods sent to countries outside the EEC, nor will I falsify Customs Declarations regarding content or value. In the event of an Export Licence being needed, I will take all reasonable steps to help the buyer.

Box and pocket-chronometers need specialist handling and all possible care will be taken to ensure no damage happens in transit. Personal collection/delivery is preferred.

My website contains links only to non-commercial websites. However, endorsement of any company, association or individual is not intended by any such link.

Contact details can change, and email services and individual computers can operate such that emails from me are blocked. I cannot be held responsible for any lack of expected contact - please check your spam filter. I am also human and can make mistakes, so please do get in touch rather than get upset if anything is not as expected/wanted.

In the unlikely event of an unresolved dispute between myself and a customer (it has never happened), it will be settled according to English Law.
