Unusual smaller sized model, with 8 3/4 ligne movement, circa 1955
Gold plated case with stainless-steel back held by separate screw-in ring. Smiths smaller sized 17-jewel gilded movement with 'Permalife' unbreakable mainspring. Double-roller detached lever escapement with steel escape, the monometallic balance with beryllium balance-spring. Silvered dial with mix of gilt dots and batons and numerals, original matching gilt hands, the centre-seconds with the usual red tip. 30 mm diameter, not including button or lugs.
