Sanders, Kensington, London, retailers.

Founded by Henry Williamson in 1865, they became an increasingly more important English wholesale and retail firm as they acquired the business of Charles Hutton Errington of Coventry in 1895 and the remnants of the English Watch Company in 1897. With a head office in London, Williamson produced mainly machine-made pocket watches and some wristwatches.

NB: This is Williamson's 2nd highest 'B Grade' of movement examples of which are rarely encountered, even less so in this good condition.

Case showing  some minor scratches consistent with age, but importantly no signs of wear to its plating, not even on the bow. The movement and dial also very good, showing few signs of use. Cleaned and guaranteed.
