Engine-turned silver case in the lever style, hallmarked London 1841, case and pendant makers stamp ID (John Joseph Dyer, Clerkenwell)). Capped and jewelled fullplate fusee movement with well engraved balance-cock, both movement and cap nicely signed. Verge (recoil) escapement. Unusual 5-arm steel balance, spiral balance-spring. One-piece enamel dial in perfect condition, gold hands. 51 mm diameter.
