Rare early 19th century combined tradecard and bookplate, circa 1815.
Bennett Harvey, Watch & Clock Maker to his Majesty... Top quality rag paper, with one untrimmed edge, as originally (presumably) pasted into one of Harvey's 6000 volume Lending Library, this being volume number 1231. With an engraving of the Royal Coat of Arms and 'Dieu et Mon Droit' motto. 8 x 6.5 cm.
In very good condition, the back plain but with remnants of stamp hinges having been mounted in an album at one time. A lovely and most unusual item of horological ephemera.
