A good copy of one of the key books on pocket watches.
Dust jacket, cloth boards, frontis portrait, 490 pages + 58 pages, being a reprint of the 1921 catalogue of the exhibition of Chamberlain's first collection lent to the Art Institute of Chicago in 1921. Numerous excellent line drawings of escapements throughout (mostly by Henry Wing) and important biographies of many makers with portraits. Holland Press reprint of the 1921 and 1941 originals, published 1978.
Wonderful information and a terrific read. In good clean condition, just minor shelf wear to the dust jacket and a bookplate(?) removed from the bottom of the front free endpaper, causing the paper to be marked and thinned.
