Illustrated auction catalogue. London, 10th October 1961.
253 lots of English and European watches formed, it is written, by Franklin Dennison and sold by the Waltham Precision Instrument Company, Waltham, Massachusetts. The majority of the collection is, however, just part of the much larger collection formed in the UK by Evan Roberts: Tompion, Quare, Graham, etc.
An important catalogue, but also an infamous collection due to many of the more decorative cocks having been removed from the watches. NB: Provenance plays an ever more important role in horology and auction catalogues like this provide vital information mostly found nowhere else.
Minor ink marks on cover, contents in good clean condition.
