Good London finished verge with pinions of 8, circa 1800.
Nicely finished fullplate fusee movement, the train crossed in 6's and the cock and slide plate beautifully engraved, the former retaining its diamond endstone. Verge (recoil) escapement. Cream enamel dial. 45 mm diameter, 14.5 mm deep, not including centre arbor.

Lacking hands, dial with the usual hair crack and some signs of light rust. Otherwise in good condition and it will tick when wound.
