Crisp engine-turned silver barrel-edge case with DQ safety bow, hallmarked Birmingham 1915, case stamped A.L.D (Aaron Lufkin Dennison) and Dennison Watch Case Co Ltd. 16-size keyless, pendant-set movement, jewelled to the centre in raised gold settings, with gold train and diamond endstones on balance, lever and escape arbors, with typically exuberant nickel damascened plates. Straight-line, club-tooth detached lever escapement with steel escape. Compensation balance, overcoil balance-spring with fine adjustment regulator. Two-piece signed enamel dial in perfect condition, blued-steel hands. 50.5 mm diameter.
