Compiled from Letters and Official Documents by J J Farmer, Coventry.
Green cloth boards, 68 pages, frontis portrait, 17 figs, plus tables. Privately published, Coventry, nd, circa 1914.
Rare, being one of the most difficult to find horological books. It contains a biography of Loseby, an account of his mercury tube chronometer balance and chronometer trials, his isochronal corrector for pendulums, his improved mercury pendulum, plus other material.
The sewn section of pages a little loose, the glue holding them to the cloth back strip strip having dried out, but no loss and a relatively easy repair that would be invisible when done. With the bookplate of the late Francis Wadsworth.
