NB: I am not sure of the holdings of such material in Scottish museums but this collection must rate as one of the largest in private hands. It is the ideal basis for forming what could be a larger regional collection, and is certainly worthy of national museum attention - I add images of a few of the more interesting papers.
For more information on these fascinating miniature tradecards, see the short note in my website Glossary, and my illustrated article on 'Watchpapers' in the April 2001 issue of Antique Collecting.
All used, four with some loss (included at no cost), all readable.
